The place (as you know) is amazing. It just kept on getting better, the more we explored, the more we liked. It worked perfectly for the surprise birthday party that I planned. I lied and said it was a bed and breakfast, we closed the red curtains that separate the rooms and everyone sat quietly in the “game room”. The area near the door with the glass case really made it look like a B&B. As my significant other explored the kitchen area and headed into the game room/bar area, he opened the curtains and everyone yelled surprise (of course wearing a crazy hat which made it that much better). The surprise and weekend could not have gone better. Everyone being able to drink and not having to worry about driving was so stress free and there was more than enough room that you didn’t feel cooped up all weekend. I am so grateful I stumbled across your place on the internet.
Since I had all of our (my significant other and I) friends come together which many didn’t know each other, there was never a dull moment or something to talk about or point out with all that décor. People came from Minneapolis, Chicago, Stevens Point, Madison, Green Bay and Milwaukee so the location was great and being all together again in an entertaining/relaxing/fun filled house made all the difference. The vibe was just so happy and cheerful, I don’t think there was ever a dull moment or someone laughing loudly. Luckily we had a very trust worthy group, I can’t imagine how paranoid I’d be if those were all my items, so thank you for sharing! One of the best weekends of my life. I know my significant other will never forget the best surprise party of all time (you know it’s good when you get a wild land firefighter teary eyed).
