For all who ask us “who is Adeline and the story about Adeline’s House of Cool here’s Adeline’s Story in Wisconsin.

Adeline’s Story in Wisconsin Began,
As Rumor Has It!

Adeline’s Story in Wisconsin was passed down from generation to generation and she was a very old and very sweet lady. So sweet that there’s no way her stories could possibly be true but here it goes.

Very early on after Adeline’s father was killed in the Civil War, Adeline was left to manage the family farm with her mother and sister not far from where Adeline’s House stands today.

Around this time, she fell in love with a handsome, silver-tongued man named Half Pint Harry. Adeline fell head over heels for the man; unfortunately, Half Pint Harry was a sweet-talking sort of con man, and he ended up stealing all of her hard-earned money and selling her farm, leaving Adeline completely destitute. Not one to take that type of treatment from anyone, she chased down her former lover with a shotgun and ended him.

Her parlors were finely furnished, served Champagne instead of whiskey, and only accepted the patronage of well-dressed gentlemen. It was hugely popular, but men lost interest as Adeline’s beauty waned and more women began to fill the Bordellos, taverns and gambling houses in the area.
