Vacation in Wisconsin It's Adeline's Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.

Where should I vacation in Wisconsin in the Fall?

Planning a vacation in Wisconsin:
It’s Adeline’s Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.

TravelWisconsin.com put it very well; Fall is (arguably) Wisconsin’s most beautiful season. But we can certainly all agree it’s covered in colors worthy of extra oohs and ahhs. Crimson, magenta, copper, scarlet – autumn drive through Wisconsin’s technicolor landscape is an experience you’ll never forget.

Naturally, we hope you will decide Adeline’s House of Cool is where you should go for a fall vacation in Wisconsin, and telling you something about the area may help you come to that decision.

Adeline’s is located in Markesan Wisconsin, near Marquette, nestled between the towns of Montello and Green Lake, in Green Lake County.

Markesan is a city in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. The population was 1,476 at the 2010 census. The center of the population of Wisconsin is located in Markesan.

Marquette is a village in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. The village is located within the Town of Marquette.

Travel Wisconsin lists Lake Puckaway as one of the best places to fish in Wisconsin.

Private pier and channel access to Lake Puckaway

Adeline’s House of Cool has a private pier and channel access to Lake Puckaway (Puckaway Lake) a 5013-acre lake.

Lake Puckaway is widely known for its northern pike fishery, which produced the state record 38 lbs fish.

The lake also boasts good numbers of quality sized largemouth and has the added bonus of walleye, catfish, musky and panfish.

Green Lake Country is now a Discover Wisconsin Choice Destination! Our five communities of Berlin, Green Lake, Markesan, Princeton, and Ripon are just far enough off the beaten path for unspoiled scenery.

Marquette County is a true sportsman’s paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Immerse yourself in a kinder, gentler, peaceful moment in time. Whether fishing, bird watching or hiking is your thing, nature abounds.

Grand River Marsh State Wildlife Area and Fountain Creek Wet Prairie State Natural Area

The Grand River Marsh SWA is a 10,000-acre complex of marsh, grassland, oak savanna, river, and woodlots located in southwest Green Lake County and southeast Marquette County near Lake Puckaway.

The property is a magnet for migrating waterfowl and is a favorite hunting spot in autumn. There are many trails to hike and three boat landings for your canoe or kayak. The extensive marshes draw in herons, Osprey and the Double-crested Cormorant. The Fountain Creek Wet Prairie SNA is a large, low-lying grassland in the basin of the marsh. Wet prairie is uncommon and characterized by prairie cord grass, blue-joint grass and mountain mint. The property’s bird list includes Sandhill Crane, Northern Harrier, Sedge Wren, Horned Lark and Bobolink.
